Found this in my lettuce patch. Still trying to figure out if it's just another 'green' or a beet or something.

    It sure looks like a turnip to me. Did you plant one of those "mixed greens" things? Turnip greens are tasty!

    Bet you anything fullfreezer is right. Turnip greens are common in mesclun blends :)
